Oh Lord (literally), that huge one in the middle, please, please He's not on the cross anymore, please let him down so he can kick back and hang at Starbucks and chill... if that was in my room, wouldn't you be afraid that he'd come off at night and just run around, a little 10 inch life size naked saviour and just kind of perch on your bed.. "Hey.. I haven't heard from you for awhile, I'm here for you whenever you need me".... I don't mean to be irreverent, but that was a fairly large crucifix and that's honestly what it would make me think. It's truly beautiful that for others that the same object will bring feelings of gratefulness and wonder and awe (but hopefully not horrible guilt and self-flagellation). i think this is turning too political. i think i am hungry and need to eat.
