yay! It is another post about videoblogging...
Ant makes videoblogs more than than the sum of their parts.
Posted by brad at May 28, 2005 05:47 PMHere I am getting caught up on my backlog too. I connect with what you're saying. I too like watching a bunch in a row, and I agree with you, the sum usually is greater than the sum of its parts. Another cool thing is being able to place the posts in context with past posts by the same person.
Posted by: jonny goldstein at May 29, 2005 01:44 AMthanks so much for viewing my vlog! i'm a very new at this and i am loving it. so, i'll keep recording and see what comes up.
cheers!
Posted by: shahran at May 29, 2005 04:05 AMIt was ANT that actually made me want to videoblog in the first place. I just liked watching a bunch of posts in a row-- and many of them were telling me to get off my butt and just jump in.
Posted by: schlomo rabinowitz at May 29, 2005 04:24 AMI agree, watching in a bunch is much better. Before I got ANT I would just watch one at a time but as a whole watching is more fun, it's like you're actually doing something properly instead of 'just watching a video'.
Posted by: Topher Collins at May 29, 2005 08:49 AMWhy is it that people only comment on posts about blogging?
Posted by: fantasy robot at May 29, 2005 01:02 PMblogging is a force that surrounds us and binds the galaxy together.
Posted by: brad at May 29, 2005 01:37 PMbeing able to watch video together makes it a cinematic experince.
I see connections among random moments.
I also realize how smart people are.
just wait till the commercial producers start dumping their content into our pipes...we'll see the level of intelligence go down...hopefully just a little.
hopefully, people will continue to make video about the world around them...reguardless of what bullshit they pawn off as entertainment.
First of all, I am behind in ant because I just discovered your vlog and refreshed the channels and have about 10 of your videos, which I really enjoy.
Second, I agree with you about the nature of videoblogs based on my experience, so I'm not hatein'. Also, I'm not worried about whether or not others do or don't appreciate video blogs - there's obviously an interested community, and I'm having fun.
