Soundwave

Some uk car commercial

Perhaps the glorious dream of a transformers quasi live action movie could be glorious in reality as well?

Also, what is the deal with Soundwave? He transforms into a tape player! I don't think I ever fully appreciated how odd that is until just now.

If you'd like to know more about soundwave, there is the Tribute to Soundwave.

I especially liked the author's description of Soundwavespace.

Altman directing a Prairie Home Companion movie?

Prairie Home Companion Movie? Directed by Robert Altman? George Clooney as Guy Noir? Could this possibly be true? Robert Altman directing simultaneously makes me think this might be true, and it might actually be good. Although I am worried about Prairie Home being transformed into a movie.

Internet Hunting

Perhaps I am being too judgemental. I find this whole idea of internet hunting offensive.

accuracy vs. balance

A cjr piece on one of my favorite topics, accuracy vs. balance, made the front page of slashdot. How odd.

Election day

I considered writing in Michael Bérubé for Representative of PA's 5th district. But I figured if I did a write in vote, my ballot would somehow become more susceptable to being thrown out if PA turns into the proverbial Florida times 1000.

Plus, I have a tendency to vote my fears, and not my hopes, and the possibility of a libertarian win is just too chilling.

Actually, I am joking. For the record: I did not vote for Peterson.

I wonder how long before Apple releases an update to quick time that breaks this.
