For the very first part of the debate, I was disheartened. I wanted Kerry to answer some of the attacks the president was leveling against him. Like the ridiculous "nuisance" attack, or the voting against tax cuts 128 times. Kerry did answer that, with the assertion that he voted FOR tax cuts over 600 times. After that, things started swinging for Kerry. I thought he was able to be more direct with the audience than the president. He did fumble a bit. His answers about border security seemed strange, and full of allegations with no facts. That aside, call me naive, but Kerry even seemed honest go goodness inspiring and inspired. He energized me, thats for sure.
